December 26th, 2011 was the six year anniversary of the day I almost committed suicide. I was also at a Patent Pending show that day; after the show, when I went up to Joe, he went around and high-fived everyone and told me how proud of me he was. A few days later, on December 30th, 2011, he wished me a happy 6th anniversary onstage in the middle of “Second Family”- it was one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. I love this band.
